SOLARIS
SET AND COSTUME DESIGN
Photos by Evgeny Kraws
A grand premiere marking the 125th anniversary of the Lviv National Opera — Solaris was brought to life on its historic stage as a visionary fusion of dance, music, and scenography.
In this contemporary ballet adaptation of Stanisław Lem’s Solaris, I was responsible for both the scenographic concept and costume design. My work focused on translating the psychological and philosophical depth of the story into visual language — exploring themes of memory, forbidden knowledge, and the blurred boundary between reality and illusion.
